Peshawar:On the directives of the chief minister parliamentarians and ulema from Kohat, Bannu, and Hangu visited the Kurram district to establish lasting peace in the Kurram district.
Member National Assembly (MNA) Kurram Engineer Hamid Hussain, Commissioner Kohat Moatasim Billah Shah, Deputy Commissioner Kurram Javedullah Mehsud, and District Police Officer(DPO) Kurram Ahmed Shah were also present during the visit which aimed to resolve the ongoing tensions in the area and restore peace.
The delegation visited the central Imambargah in Parachinar and the village of Boshehra, where they offered prayers for those who lost their lives in recent incidents. The delegation discussed the ongoing land disputes in the area and assured that these issues would be resolved as soon as possible.
During the visit, MNA Shehryar Afridi, Maulana Raja Nasir Abbas of Muttahida Wahdat Ul Muslimeen, Sahibzada Hamid chairman Sunni Itehad council, MNA Yusuf Jehan, and Maulana Naseem Ali Shah appealed to all parties to remain pea
ceful.
They emphasized that, according to the Chief Minister’s directives, experienced revenue officers would be involved in resolving the land disputes to establish permanent peace in the area. The delegation stressed the urgency of addressing these issues to ensure lasting peace.
They expressed hope that everyone would work together for the development and prosperity of the Kurram district.
