LAHORE: A 7-member committee was announced for the selection of the national cricket team.
While addressing a press conference, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that the selection committee of the national cricket team will consist of 7 members, and there will be no chairman of the selection committee.
He said that all the members of the selection committee will have equal powers, who will take decisions together, and the chairman will not interfere in the team selection.
The Chairman PCB said that Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Yusuf, Abdul Razzaq and Asad Shafiq have been included in the selection committee, while captain and head coach will also be part of the selection committee, adding data analyst has also been made a part of the selection committee..
Muhammad Yusuf will also be the head coach of U-19, he added.
Mohsin Naqvi said that Haris Rauf’s central contract has been restored.
According to the contract there will be NOC policy, and there will be no favoritism regarding any player.
