LAHORE:The second day of the Food Gala, organised by the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) to mark World Food Day, will feature entertainment activities for citizens, including a live performance by renowned Pakistani singer Aima Baig.
PFA Director General Mansoor Ahmad invited the people of Lahore to attend the event with their families and enjoy the festivities at Jilani Park, saying that admission to the gala was completely free.
He said the PFA had also established a nutrition camp to guide citizens about healthy eating habits
and help them understand what they should and should not eat in their daily lives.
Visitors can avail themselves of free basic health tests and personalised diet plans at the camp, he added.
The DG said various brands participating in the Food Gala were offering discounts ranging from 20 to 30 per cent, providing visitors with an opportunity to explore different products at reduced prices.
He urged the citizens, particularly families, to participate in the event, benefit from the available
nutrition services and enjoy Aima Baig’s live concert, making the occasion memorable.
