ISLAMABAD:Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) on Wednesday organized a special ceremony at PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad to award the best performance trophy to Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA).
President of PTF Salim Saifullah Khan awarded the trophy to Secretary General PLTA Rashid Malik, said a press release.
The PLTA has been adjudged as the best performing province/unit of the Pakistan Tennis Federation for the year 2021-22. It has been consecutively receiving this trophy for the last three years.
The trophy is awarded to the best province/unit for the conduct of national events with a focus on junior players and the development of tennis in the country.
The PTF president appreciated Rashid Malik’s efforts for single-handedly managing the affairs of PLTA. He said Malik’s hard work, efforts and passion for tennis played a pivotal role in enhancing the capacity of PLTA. His efforts should serve as a beacon for others in the tennis fraternity in Pakistan.
