Sargodha: Acting on the directions of District Police Officer Tauqir Muhammad Naeem as part of an ongoing campaign against social crimes, SHO Bhalwal City Hasnat Ahmed, along with his team, arrested an alleged honey-trap gang members and recovered valuables from the suspects.
According to police, the gang was allegedly led by Bushra, who, along with her associates Fozia and Shamsahir, would lure citizens to their residence on various pretexts, including friendship offers and requests to deliver or purchase items.
Police said that once the victims arrived, the suspects would hold them hostage and extort large sums of money, mobile phones and other valuables by threatening them with serious consequences, including implicating them in false adultery cases.
Following the action, police arrested the accused and registered a case under the relevant provisions of law. Further legal proceedings are underway.
