Tank: The Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Tank has intensified cleanliness operations to ensure healthy environment for the citizens across the city.
According to the district administration, the drive has been launched on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Jamshed Khan to improve municipal services and provide residents with a cleaner and healthier urban environment.
The municipal staff are carrying out sanitation activities in various streets, neighborhoods and markets.
TMA sanitation teams remained engaged in sweeping roads and streets and removing accumulated garbage from different parts of the city.
The cleanliness operation also covered busy commercial areas and residential localities where routine sanitation services are being carried out to improve the overall cleanliness conditions.
It added that the ongoing drive would help maintain a clean and hygienic environment for citizens as well as ensuring that waste is removed from public places on a regular basis.
The TMA staff has been directed to continue cleanliness activities across the city and pay particular attention to areas experiencing increased accumulation of waste.
Citizens have also been urged to cooperate with the municipal staff by avoiding the disposal of garbage in streets, markets and other public places and by using designated waste disposal points.
