Police operations against criminal elements three accused arrested in 4 murder cases, raids ongoing in Ratodero ancient

District


Larkana: On the instructions of SSP Larkana Azhar Khan (PSP), Larkana Police is continuing operations against criminal elements, illegal activities, and the smuggling of non-customs goods. During various operations, police recovered non-customs Iranian petrol and diesel and arrested three accused involved in a murder case, while police teams are continuing raid operations to arrest the accused involved in the Ratodero firing incident on Saturday.



According to details, under the special instructions of SSP Larkana Azhar Khan (PSP) and the supervision of ASP Ratodero/Naudero Syed Haider Ali Shah, Ratodero Police conducted an operation on Jacobabad Road and recovered 3,600 liters of non-customs and illegal Iranian petrol and 200 liters of Iranian diesel.



During the operation, police took a truck and a tractor into custody along with their drivers. The recovered petrol, diesel, vehicles, and arrested drivers were handed over to customs authorities for further legal action.



On the other hand, in the Bagh Jinnah area within the jurisdiction of Market Police Station, Larkana Police arrested three accused involved in the murder case of Ali Hassan Mirani Mirbahr: Mushtaq Sheikh, Abdul Qadir Kori, and Shahzoor Khuhawar.



According to police, the arrested accused had killed Ali Hassan Mirani Mirbahr by stabbing him with knives in the fish market area on 9 September 2026 over a transaction involving labor wages. Further legal and procedural actions, including interrogation of the accused, are ongoing.



Meanwhile, SSP Larkana Azhar Khan (PSP) took strict notice of the unfortunate firing incident in Ratodero and sought a report from the concerned Sub-Divisional Police Officer, ASP Ratodero. According to the initial report of ASP Ratodero/Naudero Syed Haider Ali Shah, the incident is an offshoot of a longstanding enmity over agricultural land, in which a dispute was ongoing between the Ghanghro community, while people of the Dahani community of Lal Shah Bari were also involved.



Those killed in the firing incident were identified as Bilawal Ghanghro, Qurban Ghanghro, Riaz Ghanghro, Rajab Ghanghro, and passerby Abdullah Brohi. Further legal actions, including post-mortem of the deceased, examination of CCTV footage, and collection of other evidence, are ongoing by police.



SSP Larkana Azhar Khan (PSP) visited the crime scene after the incident, reviewed the situation at the hospital, and met the families of the deceased to obtain important information. He also personally supervised the ongoing police operations to arrest the accused.



While talking to media representatives, SSP Larkana said that according to initial investigations, the incident is the result of a longstanding enmity over agricultural land, and during this enmity the parties had previously caused loss of life and property to each other. He said the accused will be brought under the law at all costs, while police raid operations to arrest the accused are ongoing. Police teams have been deployed and dispatched at various locations in the city, including blockades.



SSP Larkana said that action will be taken according to law against those who take the law into their hands, while all sympathies of the government and the state are with the victims and their families.



According to Larkana police officials, operations against various crimes are being further accelerated, and further legal action will be taken after interrogation of the arrested accused.
