Post-campaign review meeting on Polio eradication held in Quetta

Quetta:Deputy Commissioner (DC) Quetta, Mehrullah Badini, chaired a post-campaign review meeting to assess the performance of the recent anti-polio drive. The session was attended by the District Health Officer Quetta, polio program officials, and other relevant officers.



The meeting reviewed the overall performance of the campaign, including ESI isolation, MPQA, LQAS, coverage of zero-dose children, challenges faced by polio teams, shipping, and other key issues. Officials provided detailed briefings on the outcomes and challenges encountered during the drive.



DC Badini highlighted shortcomings and problems faced during the campaign and directed that effective measures be ensured to address them in future rounds. He stressed the importance of reaching zero-dose children, improving team performance, and strengthening the monitoring system.



The meeting also emphasized the need for enhanced coordination between the district administration, health department, and polio program to achieve the complete eradication of polio. Participants agreed to intensify joint efforts and strengthen collaborative mechanisms to ensure the success of upcoming campaigns.
