Quetta: Balochistan Finance and Minerals Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani on Thursday said that the fundamental policy for the distribution of posts should be formulated with due regard for transparency, merit, and population ratios.
Chairman of the Committee on the Redistribution of Posts Mir Shoaib Nosherwani said this while chairing a meeting. The meeting was attended by Law Secretary Pervez Nosherwani, Special Secretary S and GAD Habib-ur-Rehman Kakar, and technical representatives from the Finance Department.
During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the policy regarding the distribution of posts, which was originally formulated in 1991. The Provincial Finance Minister was briefed on the existing administrative structure and the distribution of posts following the creation of new divisions and districts.
Consideration was given to revising the 1991 policy on the distribution of posts and making necessary amendments to align it with the newly established divisions and districts.

He also directed the concerned officials to complete the policy review process effectively and in a timely manner.
