Lahore: The CEO of the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC), Shaharyar Arif Khan, is continuing surprise field visits to oversee sanitation arrangements across the city.
LWMC CEO Shaharyar Arif Khan visited Tollington Market to review the cleanliness situation and the implementation of the waste management plan; Deputy CEO (Operations) Mubeen Ahsan and senior LWMC officials accompanied him during the visit.
Shaharyar Arif Khan inspected the sanitation arrangements at Tollington Market in accordance with the waste management plan and spoke to shopkeepers about the cleanliness situation.
Accompanied by the anti-littering squad, he instructed shopkeepers to place dustbins outside their shops and dispose of waste in the designated containers.
The LWMC CEO stated that cleaning and washing operations at Tollington Market are being ensured across all three shifts, while sanitation workers are completing cleaning tasks in commercial markets across the city during the early morning hours.
Shaharyar Arif Khan emphasised that providing a clean environment to citizens is LWMC’s top priority and that the monitoring of sanitation arrangements in the field will continue.
