Peshawar: The heirs of two youths killed in the Malagori incident, along with local residents, on Monday staged a protest sit-in at Bab-e-Khyber, Jamrud with the bodies, alleging that the youths had been killed in another alleged fake police encounter.
The protesters said both youths were innocent and had no role whatsoever in the killing of SHO Riaz Hussain Afridi.
They demanded a transparent and impartial investigation into the incident, strict action against those responsible, and justice for the victims.
The protesters warned that the sit-in would continue until their demands were met.
