Lahore: An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique in which it was resolved to ensure a clean environment in government teaching hospitals as per the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
The meeting was attended by Special Secretary Development Department Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Ahmed Kamal Mann. DG Suthra Punjab Authority Umar Javed. Deputy CEO LWMC and other officers through video link. A roadmap for arrangements to ensure cleanliness in hospitals was presented by the Director General Suthra Punjab Authority and Special Secretary Development.
Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique said that the Health department is taking basic steps to maintain the standards of cleanliness in hospitals and ensure a germ and infection-free environment. In this regard. a detailed review of the proposed roadmap of Suthra Punjab Authority has been conducted. Ensuring cleanliness in hospitals is the top priority.
