Lahore: Punjab Police launched three-day celebrations to mark the historic defence agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, with police offices across the province, including the Central Police Office Lahore, illuminated and decorated with the national flags of the three countries.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, the special decorations at police offices across the province reflect the defence cooperation and brotherly ties among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
Inspector General of Punjab Police Abdul Karim said the Punjab Police was an equal partner with other national institutions in celebrating the historic defence agreement between the three countries.
He said the agreement would prove to be a symbol of security, stability and peace.
The IG said Punjab Police stood alongside the Pakistan Armed Forces in safeguarding the country’s internal security and maintaining law and order. He added that all national institutions were fulfilling their responsibilities to the fullest to ensure national security and peace.
