Hyderabad: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) took out a motorbike rally, led by Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon’s son Rawal Memon, here on Friday to celebrate the country’s 80th independence day.
The rally started from the Rawal House in Tandojam and hundreds of motorbikes participated in the rally. The participants carried flags of Pakistan and they kept chanting slogans like ‘long live Pakistan’.
Speaking on the occasion, Memon said the purpose of organizing the rally was to revive the feelings of patriotism among young people.
He added that the youth would have to play a crucial role for progress, development, peace and stability in the country. He emphasized that the people should cherish and protect their freedom.
