RD provincial ombudsman inspects government high school Latifabad


Hyderabad: Regional Director Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Hyderabad Syed Sajjad Haider Shah, on the special directives of Provincial Ombudsman Muhammad Sohail Ahmed Rajput (Sitara-e-Imtiaz), paid a detailed visit to Hotchand Mal Chand Gurbakhshani Government High School, Latifabad No. 7, Hyderabad.



During the visit, the Regional Director (RD) inspected the school building, teaching environment and administrative affairs.



He visited various classrooms and interacted with teachers and students to obtain information about the quality of education, teaching methods and facilities available at the institution.



According to a handout issued here on Tuesday, he directed Chief Headmaster Imdad Ali Gopang, to improve the standard of education on modern lines. He stressed the need for an effective administrative strategy to acquaint students with contemporary requirements, improve the teaching process, monitor teachers’ performance and ensure regular attendance of students.



It was observed during the visit that repair work was underway in the school building, while student attendance was low compared to the number of enrolled students. The Regional Director directed the school administration to take immediate corrective measures to bring about a visible improvement in educational performance, discipline, and the reputation of the institution.



At the conclusion of the visit, an awareness session was held in the school auditorium with the Chief Headmaster, Headmistress, teachers and administrative staff. The participants were given a detailed briefing on the objectives and functions of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, the mechanism for redressal of public complaints, and the online complaint registration system. Their questions were also answered satisfactorily.
