Dera ghazi khan: Rescue 1122 Dera Ghazi Khan received a total of 47,757 phone calls during August , including 9,933 emergency calls, and provided timely response to people in distress.
A review meeting of the monthly performance of Rescue 1122 Dera Ghazi Khan was held at the Central Station, Chowk Churhatta, with District Emergency Officer Engineer Ahmad Kamal in the chair.
According to the performance review, the emergency calls received during August included 7,406 medical emergencies, 987 traffic accidents, 183 crime-related incidents, 28 fire emergencies, three drowning incidents, four building collapses and 1,322 other emergencies.
The District Emergency Officer said that Rescue 1122 teams rescued a total of 9,935 patients during the month. Of them, 6,811 persons were provided first aid at the scene, while 2,949 patients were shifted to hospitals for further medical treatment.
He said Rescue 1122 maintained an efficient average response time during August, while the average response time for fire emergencies was recorded at 6.18 minutes.
