Multan: Rescue 1122 Multan responded to 435 emergencies during the last 24 hours, providing
emergency services to 464 victims across the district. According to the Rescue 1122 report, 411 emergencies were reported in Multan, 13 in Shujabad and 11 in Jalalpur Pirwala. The district recorded 92 traffic accidents, including 88 in Multan, three in Shujabad and one in Jalalpur Pirwala.
Medical emergencies remained the largest category, with 274 incidents attended by Rescue 1122 personnel. Of these, 261 were reported in Multan, seven in Shujabad and six in Jalalpur Pirwala.
The emergency services also responded to 10 fall incidents, four fire emergencies and six crime-related incidents, while five deaths were reported during the period.
Rescue teams shifted 185 people to hospitals for further medical treatment, while 246 victims were provided first aid at the scene. In addition, 22 people were provided Patient Transfer Service, while rescue personnel carried out 22 rescue operations. The overall average response time for traffic accidents was recorded at 7.51 minutes, according to the Rescue 1122 report.
