Rescue 1122 Sub-Station inaugurated in Lodhran

Lodhran:Senior parliamentarian and MNA Muhammad Siddiq Khan Baloch along with Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ashraf, inaugurated the first Rescue 1122 sub-station in South Punjab, established in Lodhran.



District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122, Shakeel Ahmed,Habibullah Khokhar and a large number of citizens attended the inauguration ceremony.



The Rescue 1122 sub-station was constructed over an area of two acres at a cost of Rs34 million. The facility was aimed at improving emergency response and providing better medical and rescue services to the people of the district.



Speaking on the occasion, MNA Muhammad Siddiq Khan Baloch, expressed gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for providing the sub-station to Lodhran. He termed it an honour for the underdeveloped district of South Punjab and appreciated the efforts of Umair Khan Baloch and Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ashraf.



He said Rescue 1122 was like a ‘mobile hospital’ and remained at the forefront of public service. He added that future generations would also benefit from the modern emergency facility.



Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ashraf said political leadership had played its due role in the completion of the project. He termed the sub-station essential for ensuring better medical and emergency facilities for the people of Lodhran.



He urged citizens to protect public assets and asked Rescue 1122 personnel to make effective use of the new facility. He said efforts would continue for the timely completion of public welfare projects.



At the end of the ceremony, MNA Muhammad Siddiq Khan Baloch and Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ashraf also planted saplings at the newly inaugurated Rescue 1122 sub-station.
