Sargodha:Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) Khawar Bashir Ahmed on Wednesday chaired a meeting to review revenue matters and the recovery of government dues in district.
According to a spokesperson, during the meeting the ADCR received a detailed briefing from the officers on overall progress, recovery rates against set targets under various heads, field activities, and any challenges faced by the teams.
Khawar Bashir Ahmed directed that the assigned targets for the recovery of government dues must be achieved at all costs and the recovery process be further expedited. He stressed that effective field measures should be taken to recover dues from defaulters, with progress monitored on a daily basis.
The ADCR made it clear that special attention must be given to areas where recovery was below the target, obstacles removed immediately, and maximum dues deposited into the government treasury within the stipulated timeframe. He warned that negligence or slowness in recovery would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
