SARGODHA: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Shahrukh Kamal Siddiqui chaired a meeting on Wednesday regarding security arrangements in connection with Ashura days.
All district police officers (DPOs) of Sargodha region attended the meeting through video-link.
The RPO directed officials concerned to adopt all security measures during Muharam-ul-Haram. He said that officers and official should remain in the field to monitor security situation on hourly basis.
The RPO said that police should keep a vigilant eye on suspected persons and make solid mechanism for checking of incoming and outgoing traffic.
