SUKKUR:Shahdadkot Campus of the Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur (SALU), on Tuesday observed Kashmir Black Day with the participation of a large number of faculty members, students, and administrative staff to express solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing the participants, Prof. Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari, Pro Vice Chancellor, emphasized that justice must be ensured for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and their right to self-determination respected in accordance with relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions.
He urged the international community to play its role in securing a peaceful and just resolution of the Kashmir dispute, reflecting the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
The participants reaffirmed their solidarity with the people of Kashmir and stressed the importance of peace, human rights, dignity, and justice. The observance concluded with a call for the implementation of relevant United Nations resolutions and a lasting, peaceful settlement of the Kashmir dispute.
