SARGODHA: The University of Sargodha (UoS) held a meeting with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas in the chair, wherein various key initiatives and achievements were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ghulam Yasin, Registrar Waqar Ahmad, deans of faculties, directors and officials. The vice chancellor provided an extensive briefing on the array of projects that had been successfully completed at the university.
Dr. Qaisar Abbas said the university was going to start training and development programmes for both teachers, staff and students. These training programmes have been designed to elevate the educational standards and ensure that the university’s community was equipped with necessary skills to thrive in an evolving academic landscape, he added.
The VC told the participants the university had established a Human Resource and Development Centre, which would play a pivotal role in strengthening university’s administrative framework and ensuring that the institution
could effectively support its growing academic and research activities.
Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of recent visit to China, which resulted in signing of important projects. “These international collaborations are set to bring significant advancements to the University of Sargodha, fostering global partnerships and enhancing the institution’s research capabilities,” he added.
The newly-appointed Director of the Human Resource and Development Center Khursheed Yusaf shared his vision for the future and outlined strategic plans to enhance the university’s human resource capabilities.
