DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Most wanted terrorist Kifayat Ullah involved in the Daraban Police Station attack was killed during an operation conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) last night in Dera Ismail Khan.
According to a press release issued here, the CTD, taking action on a tip-off, conducted an operation at Jalebi Morr in Hikmatabad area within the jurisdiction of Dera town Police Station.
During the operation, most wanted terrorist Kifayat Ullah, resident of Daraban Kalan was killed.
The slain militant was involved in the Daraban Police Station attack in which 24 soldiers of the security forces were
martyred while 33 others were injured.
The CTD also recovered one SMG folding butt, 04 magazines, 37 cartridges, one hand grenade, one pocket size diary with the name of Kifayatullah, and an easypaisa card in the name of Doraan Khan.
The other accomplices of the slain terrorist managed to escape by taking advantage of the darkness of the night while a search operation is still underway for their
arrest.
