MINGORA:District administration on Sunday inspected private school buildings in different tehsils to assess their structural integrity and safety arrangements.
The drive has been undertaken to determine whether the educational facilities remain fit for use and to identify any serious structural defects or hazards at an early stage.
In Babozai, an inspection committee headed by Assistant Commissioner Syed Arham Mukhtar, along with an engineer from the CandW Department, a representative of the Education Department and technical staff of the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA), has conducted detailed examinations of several private school buildings.
Similarly, the Additional Assistant Commissioner of Bahrain inspected 10 public schools and 24 private schools. Upon completion of the survey, recommendations are to be compiled into a comprehensive report, so that necessary corrective measures can be implemented for the safety of pupils and staff.
In Kabal Tehsil, Assistant Commissioner Adnan Abrar visited various private schools, where school buildings, classrooms and existing safety arrangements were evaluated.
