Karachi: A security guard was killed, while two passersby were injured during a firing incident at a private housing society here on Saturday, according to a police source quoted by a private TV channel.
Initial reports said that four unidentified assailants arrived on two motorcycles and opened indiscriminate fire on security guards performing their duties. As a result, one guard was killed and two passersby sustained injuries.
After the firing, the attackers fled the scene and escaped in separate directions.Police have launched the search operation to locate the attackers and trace their hideout.
