Dera ismail khan:Security was tightened across the district on Monday following the imposition of governor’s rule and an emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while all government and private educational institutions remained closed under orders issued by the deputy commissioner.
The closure covered schools, colleges and universities across the district.
All examinations and papers scheduled for the day were also cancelled.
Security arrangements were strengthened at various locations to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incident.
Authorities took precautionary measures and maintained security vigilance across the district amid the prevailing situation.
