HYDERABAD:SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar held a public hearing at his office on Monday to receive and address the public complaints pertaining to the police force and crimes.
The police spokesman informed that dozens of citizens directly narrated their issues and ordeals to the SSP seeking his directives for his subordinate officials for prompt response and action.
He added that the SSP directed the DSPs and the SHOs to resolve the public complaints at the level of the police stations.
During the hearing the SSP forwarded each single complaint to the relevant police official with the directives for prompt response and solution.The SSP assured the citizens that strengthening trust between the police and the people was their top priority.Separately, the spokesman told that snap checking continued on Monday in all parts of the city.
He requested the citizens to keep the documents of their identity and of their vehicles with them and to cooperate with the cops who conduct the snap checking.
