MIRPURKHAS:Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mirpurkhas, Adil Memon, committed to combating social crimes and declared a new era of modern policing in the Mirpurkhas district on Tuesday.
In a meeting with a delegation of journalists from Aiwan-e-Sahafat, SSP reaffirmed his commitment to eradicating the sale of illegal liquor and drugs, not just in the city but across the entire district.
He announced plans to establish dedicated police beats in every ward of the city, each led by an appointed investigation officer with a complete team.
He stressed the importance of eliminating encroachments with the support of the municipal corporation to ensure smooth traffic flow. He mentioned the deployment of additional personnel to police stations and the repair of police vehicles, including 15 emergency motorcycles.
He appealed for the support of both the media and citizens in these endeavors. Present at the meeting were Fazal Shar, President of Aiwan-e-Sahafat; Rashid Salim, President of the Union of Journalists (Dastur); and various officials and members of Aiwan-e-Sahafat Mirpurkhas, demonstrating a collective commitment to community well-being.
