Sukkur: A graceful ceremony was held to mark the successful completion of one year of Sukkur’s first IT Park, established under the auspices of the Taj Institute of Technology and Applied Network.
A large number of male and female students participated in the event.
The chief guest on the occasion was Aslam Shaikh, Managing Director of the Taj Group of Companies, while Faryad Ali Rao, Chairman of the Titan Institute, attended as a special guest here on Tuesday.
Addressing the ceremony, chief guest Aslam Shaikh said that the primary objective of Sukkur’s first IT Park is to attract local youth towards modern digital skills.
He emphasized that the need of the hour is to enable the youth to earn a lawful livelihood with the help of modern technology and to play their role in eradicating unemployment from the country.
He stated that the institute is providing completely free IT education to the youth on modern lines. He said highly qualified, experienced and expert young teachers in their respective fields are training the students.
Shaikh added that currently, students at the institute are being skilled in cutting-edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Software Development, Online Freelancing Skills, Web Development, and Graphic Designing. He expressed his delight that the youth who have graduated from the institute have earned hundreds of thousands of rupees through their hard work and acquired skills, proving that if our youth are given good opportunities, they can bring laurels not only to themselves but also to the country and the nation.
At the end of the ceremony, students showcased their creativity by presenting their innovative IT projects, which were highly appreciated by the participants. Honorary shields and certificates were distributed among the talented students who demonstrated outstanding performance to encourage them.
