Dera ismail khan: The social welfare department Tank has launched a special anti-beggary campaign across various parts of the district.
According to the administration, 12 people engaged in begging, including two men and 10 women were identified during the campaign
The individuals were counselled, warned and subsequently removed from the respective locations.
The team also inspected the Tank bus stand and directed its management to strictly prohibit begging within the premises and take effective measures to prevent the practice.
The district administration said the campaign would continue to curb begging and ensure compliance with relevant laws across the district.
