Islamabad: At least three people were killed while two others sustained injuries in separate accidents in Karachi on Wednesday.
According to Rescue sources, the first tragic incident occurred in Labour Square, Korangi, where a woman was killed and a child injured due to collapse of roof of a house, a private news channel reported.
Rescue officials reached the spot and shifted the body and the injured child to a nearby hospital.
In the second incident, a motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a vehicle near Eidgah Ground in Korangi No. 3, while a passerby sustained injuries.
Moreover, in another fatal accident near NIPA Chowrangi, a pedestrian was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle.
Police registered separate cases and launched further investigations into the incidents.
