Lahore: Lahore Traffic Police made preparations to prevent one-wheeling and violations of traffic laws on the Independence Day. It has been decided to register cases against the mechanics and facilitators who prepare their motorcycles along with the one-wheelers.
Chief Traffic Officer Lahore Abdul Rahim Shirazi directed the officers to take strict action against one-wheeling, underage drivers and hooliganism. According to the CTO, the mechanic who prepares the motorcycle for one-wheeling will also be brought to justice, while cases will be registered against the one-wheelers and their facilitators, motor mechanics.
He said that motor mechanics should refrain from preparing one-wheeler motorcycles and removing silencers, otherwise legal action will be taken against them.
