Sialkot: A meeting was held at the office of Executive Director UMT Sialkot Campus here on Tuesday in which Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat, with Regional Director/Chief Manager, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) BSC Sialkot Office, Waqas Kashif Bajwa, discussed the implementation of Raast QR and digital payment solutions at the campus. They exchanged views on promoting digital payment systems and cashless transactions within the campus. The discussion focused on introducing secure and convenient financial solutions that would facilitate students and staff while reducing reliance on cash-based transactions. The participants also discussed measures to enhance the accessibility and efficiency of digital payments at the campus through Raast QR and other digital payment channels. The meeting underscored the commitment of UMT Sialkot and SBP to promoting a modern, secure and convenient digital payment ecosystem in line with the growing adoption of financial technology.
