Tragic School Bus accident, ICCPO ensures best medical care for injured children

ISLAMABAD: In the wake of the tragic accident involving a children’s school bus in Islamabad’s Shahdara area, ICCPO Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, accompanied by Chief Commissioner Islamabad Captain (retd) Anwarul Haq, visited the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) to oversee the medical care being provided to the injured children.

The accident, attributed to the driver’s negligence and carelessness, left a number of children injured.

Upon reaching PIMS, the ICCPO and Chief Commissioner were briefed on the extent of the injuries and the medical treatment being administered, ICT spokesman Dr Abdullah Tabasum said on Saturday.

The instructions were issued to ensure that the injured children receive the best possible medical care, with no expense spared. The authorities expressed their deep concern for the well-being of the children and vowed to bring the negligent driver to justice.
