PESHAWAR:During the blessed month of Ramazan in Peshawar, travelers and passersby are fasting at Hayatabad Toll Plaza, Khyber Bazar, GT Road and various other places under the supervision of Peshawar District Social Welfare Department and non-governmental welfare organizations.
Secretary Social Welfare Ziaul Haq and District Social Welfare Officer Peshawar Noor Muhammad Mehsud, around 1300 fasting people broke the fast under the Iftar program. A total of 350 travelers were offered Iftar by Maa Welfare Trustat at Toll Plaza Hayatabad, 350 by the Turs Foundation and Pekhawar Welfare Organization at PSO Pump GT Road and 450 passengers by Helping Youth Pakistan and Turs Foundation at Khyber Bazar besides Iftar, besides making Iftar arrangements by various youth organizations at different points of the city.
