Dg khan: The Border Military Police (BMP) foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics from Balochistan to Punjab, arresting two inter-provincial smugglers in the Buatah border area on Thursday.
According to a spokesperson, the BMP intercepted a tractor-trolley being used to transport contraband from Loralai, Balochistan, into Punjab. During a thorough search of the vehicle, authorities recovered more than 1.5 maunds of hashish and seven kilograms of ice (methamphetamine).
Officials stated that the street value of the seized drugs runs into millions of rupees.
A case was registered against the arrested suspects, and further investigations were underway. .
