Wah cantt: Police on Saturday arrested two alleged main suspects in a firing incident between two rival groups that left five people injured, including two critically, in the Losar Sharfoo area within the jurisdiction of Wah Saddar Police Station.
According to police, the incident occurred on Friday evening when the two groups allegedly opened indiscriminate fire over an old dispute. Five people sustained bullet injuries, with two of them reported to be in critical condition.
Following the incident, police launched an immediate operation to apprehend those allegedly involved. A police team led by Station House Officer (SHO) Asif Khan arrested the two main suspects, identified as Mama Rashid and Umair.
Police said further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the clash and the possible involvement of other individuals was underway. Further legal action would be taken in accordance with the findings of the investigation.
