Two proclaimed offenders arrested in Chiniot as Police intensify crackdown

Chiniot: Police in Chiniot have arrested two proclaimed offenders as part of an ongoing district-wide campaign targeting wanted criminals, launched on the directives of Regional Police Officer Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhera.



According to police, Rescue Falcon In-charge Sub-Inspector Mohsin Hassan on Sunday led the operation, which resulted in the arrest of the two suspects wanted in separate criminal cases. The arrests were made with the help of intelligence gathered through human sources and modern technology, while further investigations are underway.



District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif said the campaign against criminal elements was being pursued vigorously to improve public safety and ensure that proclaimed offenders are brought to justice.



He said special police teams had been constituted to track down wanted suspects and that all available resources would be utilised to ensure the arrest of proclaimed offenders across the district.
