Lahore: Sherakot Police have arrested two suspects wanted in a case registered over an attempted murder and assault.
According to SP Iqbal Town Sidra Khan, the suspects, identified as Khadim Hussain and Aslam, allegedly attacked Mansab, Hasnain and others with sticks and clubs following a quarrel.
During the incident, Khadim Hussain allegedly opened fire with a pistol in collaboration with Aslam, injuring Rahman. The bullet passed through Rahman’s foot, after which he was shifted to a private hospital for medical treatment, the SP said. She said both suspects were arrested by Sherakot Police shortly after registration of the case and were handed over to the investigation team.
SP Sidra Khan appreciated the SHO Sherakot and police team for their action, saying strict legal action would be taken against the suspects in accordance with the law.
