Peshawar:: A vaccination centre for Umrah pilgrims has been made operational at the Civil Surgeon’s Office here to facilitate travellers ahead of their pilgrimage.
Focal person of the centre, Ghulam Murtaza Shah said here on Thursday that vaccination would be mandatory for Umrah pilgrims from Peshawar from October 15, while they could travel without vaccination until October 14.
He said 20 counters for men and women had been established at the vaccination centre, while two National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) facilitation centres were also being set up there.
Ghulam Murtaza Shah advised citizens planning to perform Umrah to get vaccinated at least 10 days before their scheduled travel.
