Faisalabad: Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Saqib Raza directed for the formulation of a revised plan for the de-silting of sewerage lines and main channels. He emphasized that the de-silting of all sewerage lines –large and small and main channels must be completed in accordance with the plan.
He further stated that the delivery of quality drainage services to citizens is the top priority and all available resources should be utilized in this regard. The MD said that the monsoon season has almost been end; therefore, the de-silting of sewerage lines and main channels should now be initiated on a priority basis. He further added that all available machinery along with other resources should be utilized for desilting.
