Gujrat:The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has restored sewerage and drainage system in Muslim Bazaar, Moti Bazaar and Zahoor Elahi Chowk after a continuous operation by its field teams. According to an official source, the operation was carried out under the supervision of WASA Managing Director Kashan Hafeez Butt on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Gujrat Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi. Zone-3 teams worked round-the-clock to resolve the longstanding problem.
The teams, supervised by Sub-Divisional Officer Asad Malik and Sub-Engineer Badr, cleared the affected sewerage lines and took necessary measures to restore the drainage system. The restoration provided relief to traders, residents and citizens who had been facing difficulties due to the prolonged sewerage problem. WASA Managing Director Kashan Hafeez Butt appreciated the field teams for their efforts and directed the concerned officers to continue monitoring the sewerage and drainage system and ensure prompt action on public complaints.
