MUZAFFARGARH: Unknown outlaws allegedly killed a young girl by cutting her throat in the limits of Shah Jamal police station here Friday.
The father of the girl Ghulam Qasim, putting an application with police, complained that his daughter Anwar Mai went into the field for defecation purposes and went missing.
The body of the girl was recovered from the sugarcane crop while searching her. The unknown outlaws allegedly killed her by cutting throat after torturing on her and threw her body into the fields.
Shah Jamal police have shifted the body to hospital for autopsy and registered a case against unknown accused.
According to the police spokesperson, investigations were underway to find out the reasons for the murder and searching the accused.
