Faisalabad: A certificate distribution ceremony was held for young agricultural graduates who completed one-year practical training program here on Wednesday.
The ceremony was held under the aegis of the Department of Agriculture (Extension), in line with the Punjab CM program “Agriculture Transformation Plan” and the vision of “Prosperous Farmers- Prosperous Punjab.”
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Noman Siddique distributed certificates to the male and female students who completed the field trainings.
He said that the internship program aims to equip youth with modern research skills and field training.
The presence of these agricultural graduates in the field will provide farmers with scientifically-backed guidance and increase per-acre yield.
He further said that this initiative would strengthen the rural economy.
