ISLAMABAD:Chairman of Pakistan Sweet Home Zamurrad Khan participated in a Kashmir solidarity rally held to express support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on the occasion of Kashmir Black Day.
The rally was organised to reaffirm solidarity with the Kashmiri people and highlight their long-standing struggle for the right to self-determination.
Participants paid tribute to the sacrifices of Kashmiris and called upon the international community to play an effective role in resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant United Nations resolutions.
Kashmir Black Day is observed annually on October 27 to commemorate the arrival of Indian troops in Srinagar on October 27, 1947, and to draw international attention to the unresolved Kashmir dispute.
Zamurrad Khan’s participation reflected solidarity with the Kashmiri people and support for their fundamental rights and aspirations.
