Hangu: Police in ongoing crackdown against drug smugglers on Tuesday seized 2 Kgs hashish
and arrested one notorious drug peddler.
Station House officer, SHO Hangutha Police Station said that during search and strike operation against criminal elements in Tangi Banda area, one notorious drug dealer Noor Khan son of Gul Ajab Khan was arrested and 2 kgs of hashish was recovered from his possession.
Police have registered a case against the arrested and started further investigation.
The SHO said that under the directives of IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa operation against drug smugglers have been intensified in Hangu district to purge society from anti-social elements.
