PESHAWAR:The Al-khidmat foundation on Friday organized a wheelchairs’ distribution ceremony among needy persons at Peshawar Press Club to make the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Provincial President Al-Khidmat , Khalid Waqas , District President Arbab Abdul Haseeb and other representatives of the foundation distributed 30 wheelchairs among the needy and deserving people.
Provincial President Al-Khidmat , Khalid Waqas said that with an aim to provide free wheelchair to every handicap in the province, the community services program of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan was regularly collaborating with different local and international donors for the distribution of free wheelchairs.
He said that observance of International day of persons with disabilities aimed to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity,rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.
He said that Al- Khidmat foundation was committed to serve the humanity without any discrimination and biasness of race, religion and gender.
