SUKKUR:Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ghotki, Usman Abdullah Chachar has said that anti-polio drops would be administered to all aged below five years children during a seven-day campaign is being started from September 20 to 26.
While presiding over a meeting at his office on Friday, he urged parents to cooperate with polio teams and must administer anti-polio drops to their children during the drive and said that the achievement of 100 per cent polio vaccination target In all union councils of the district will be ensured.
DC Chachar said that polio vaccination teams need to work with dedication and national zeal for the success of the ongoing anti-polio campaign.
He warned that if any doctors or polio team members observe negligence, they will be suspended and action will be taken against them.
The representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF, health department’s officials, and town health officials attended the meeting.
