PESHAWAR: The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Peshawar has been selected for Sustainable Transport Award and it will be conferred on it in a ceremony scheduled at Washington DC on February 9, 2022, said a press release issued by the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department here on Thursday.
In a tweet, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has said that Peshawar will be one of three cities in the world being recognized at the 2022 Sustainable Transport Award on Feb.09 its new state of the art gender and environment friendly bus rapid transport service.
The BRT provides the best commuting services to over 0.2 million persons on a daily basis.
