ISLAMABAD:Capital Development Authority (CDA) will shift its one-window operations at citizens’ facilitation centre, located at sector G-7/2, aimed at providing different facilities to the federal capital residents under one roof.
The new one window would be embraced with modern technology to save public time and services of various departments including state management one, two, building control section one, two and three, information technology, revenue and bank would be available to the citizens at one place, said director one-window Khizer Satti.
Talking to reporter on Thursday, he said the basement work on the under construction building has been completed in which all the records would be kept, while the ground floor work has entered into the final stages. It is expected that the new one window would be operational by November 15 this year, he added.
A state-of-the-art digitized system was being introduced under which closed-circuit television cameras would be installed to secure the files and other records, while the entry of non authorized person would be completely banned. The entry of authorized person was only possible after biometric verification.
To a query, he said the existing one-window was entertaining around 250 to 300 people on daily basis.
It may be noted that various stalls/counters that had already setup at facilitation centre were providing services of IESCO, PTCL, NADRA, and issuance of Birth Certificate.
